Gorgeous one,
What is this idea of People and Place and how does it relate to Your Inner Room?
I’m so glad you asked!
Before we dive in, if you haven’t had a chance to settle in with The Source of It All and The Trinity of the Three S’s please do. They’ll give you a deeper sense of purpose and understanding of the road ahead!
So firstly, the Three S’s! Here they are!
In the bottom left corner is the concept of Self. This is a beautiful vibration of truth, honesty, love and connection for your Self and how you show up in your world.
On the bottom right corner is Space. This relates to how you show up in your Space; how your Space – whether that’s your home, office, bedroom, wherever you spend most of your day – supports you to be your greatest Self. This is why both Self and Space are on the bottom line of the triangle – they ground us on to the earthly plane and support our journey through life.
Once we work toward getting our Self and Space sorted – which, let’s face it, is an ongoing process! – we move toward the peak of the triangle, where Source proudly stands. This is your Source in whatever way, shape, form that looks like for you.
By working with the grounding concepts of Self and Space, you’re inviting in a greater understanding of and connection with your Source.
By adding People and Place to this beautiful trinity, we now get this!
As you can see, People and Place sit below the triangle, extending beyond its base, supporting us on this earth walk even more.
Let’s break it down shall we?
What’s People got to do with Your Inner Room?
In this instance we’re talking about
We can all look to people in our lives – whether it’s our parents, partner, sibling, a stranger, some other significant person – who’ve had a massive impact on us.
There are people who we’ve felt have pulled us away from what we believe our Self to be, and others who have brought us closer to our own personal truth. That doesn’t mean they did it kindly and compassionately – it may be quite the opposite! – but by reflecting on the people who have shaped our lives, whether we believe that to be positively or negatively, we open up to the possibility of the kind of People we want in our lives moving forward.
There are definitely times in my life where I’ve felt like I’ve been totally on my own – where my friends, family, those people close to me have gone AWOL or left my life entirely. Can you relate?
It’s in those times it can be really hard to envision the People you want in your life BUT it can still be possible to connect in with the vibration of the people you want, essentially putting the Universe on notice and inviting them energetically into your life. It’s just a matter of putting in the order for what you want!
Maybe you’d like someone to guide you, or someone who brings great joy, or love? Or someone who can hold space, with little judgement and an open heart, for where you are right now? Ask, trust, forget about the fact you even asked, and your request will arrive {yes, yes, all in good timing and all that!}.
This is a really important part of Your Inner Room work. By knowing your Self you’ll know the People who are an energetic vibrational match for you, even if they’re not in your life yet. AND even better, you’ll be ready for when they do arrive because you know your Self and your truth intimately.
What’s Place got to do with Your Inner Room?
In this instance we’re talking about
From there we tap into three unique energetic vibrations.
Know, respect and understand that these could be quite different vibrations!
The trick is to learn to tap into the feeling you have before you go to a particular Place – your workplace, a relative’s home, the local shopping centre, anywhere at all! – to help you decide whether (1) it’s an energetic match for you, (2) whether it’s a place you want to go, or (3) whether it’s a place you’re drawn go to no matter what.
When you’re tapping into the vibration ask yourself
By settling in with these questions you’re creating a deeper connection to your inner wisdom, gifting you a deeper knowledge of Self and Space within Place.
Through the five concepts of Self, Space, Source, People and Place we allow our own personal unique Your Inner Room journey to unfold.
So much to think about! I hope I haven’t bombarded you??
If you’d like to sit with the idea of People and Place more deeply I’ve shared more in this week’s Trust and Transform podcast episode, also called The Interconnectedness of People and Place. Links to listen in are here (you’re looking for Episode 9!).
In the meantime, I’m taking a pause from blogging and podcasting as I settle in with the creation and writing of my book. If you’d like to stay in touch I invite you to sign up here for weekly updates, channelled messages and offerings only gifted through that connection.
Until then, with deep love to you on your journey,
